| The KT2000
has 3 tests that document comparative measurements. |
| |
|
1. Passive Displacement
Test
Anterior or posterior displacement of the tibia relative to the
femur is measured with the patient's muscles relaxed. Controlled force is
applied through the handle of the Arthrometer. |
 |
| |
|
2. Manual Displacement
Tests
The Arthrometer measures the maximum tibial displacement that
is produced by a high manual force applied on the patient's proximal calf.
This manual maximum displacement measurement is clinically useful, particularly
with large patients. |
 |

|
3. Quadriceps Active
Tests Quadriceps active testing measures a patient's tibial displacement
when the quadriceps muscles are contracted. |
