The team at OrthopedicStore.com
is proud to offer extensive testing for a wide variety of patients.
For ACL/PCL Patients
The KT-2000 is a portable outcome measure for the ACL/PCL patient that
uses a graphic X-Y plotter for accuracy and reliability. We believe that
this is an excellent tool in practice because it can assist physicians
in assessments for patients to return to work, sports and activities of
daily living without increasing the risk of further injury.
Case Study
Maximum Medical
Improvement (MMI)Testing
Impairment rating is the percentage of permanent impairment of the whole
body resulting from a compensable injury. The term does not include medical,
death, or burial benefits. The ratings consist of analyzing data accumulated
in the course of an impairment evaluation and comparing those data with
a guide's criteria to estimate the extent of the impairment. Impairment
ratings prepared according to the guide's criteria are estimates of impairment.
Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCES)
(FCEs) Contain the following three elements:
- A physical examination and neurological evaluation.
- A physical capacity evaluation of the injured area.
- Functional ability tests.
